Welcome!

UPDATE: Quite a few sources are claiming that this site is outdated. In fact, because Blogger doesn't update the post url when the post content is updated, that's not entirely true. This site has been regularly updated over the years even though the post structure hasn't changed. The last site update was performed in 2025. That said, some of the content, primarily new hrts and hence the hrt pages are not fully up to date and there are no plans to continue those updates—that's information you can find elsewhere these days. The content on the hrts listed has not, however, gone out of date. In fact, this site primarily covers basic physiology and hrt use, and understandings of those have not significantly changed.

We have also discontinued our discussion forums. Most users today are reluctant to look beyond social media or to read more than a line or two of content. We're not interested in providing that as it's impossible to cover what users need to know in those formats. That said...

Welcome to our guide for surviving surgical menopause. Congratulations for setting out to learn more about your body and needs in this challenging time!

Because this site uses blogging software, this home page can be a little confusing and, frankly, isn't the best of places to begin reading. Instead, we suggest you begin by reading the "Introduction" tab above, and then move along to the "Table of Contents" page. Working from that to read one article after another in that order will make a great deal more sense for you. And don't forget, if you're looking for something specific, that there's a search field in the left side of the upper pink navbar. Still can't find what you need? Come join us on our forums and we'll try to help you out.
